Learning something new everyday

Everyone learns something new everyday about their relationship with their bf/gf/fiance/husband/wife; while in class; while at work; almost anywhere you learn something new. I've learned something about my engagement, as well. Hopefully someone on here can take this lesson to heart as well. If you are in an extreamly serious relationship, think about something. Can you imagine a life without your significant other? If you CAN imagine a life without him or her, then you need to get out of it...or at least talk with them and figure out WHY you feel this way. If you CAN'T imagine a life without them, then you are in the right place. I've done that myself.....many times. Over the course of a year, I can't imagine my life without Patrick. I don't want to be without him at all. Don't get me wrong, the first three (3) months of the relationship, I questioned if I was in the right place at the right time. That was because of a man named Brad. Please remember 1 f

Trying and learning how to be an "Ultimate Cheapskate"

I am currently trying to be and learning how to be an ultimate cheapskate. It's gonna be a bit of a rough road trying and learning how to do this. I've just started a few weeks ago at saving money. (ex.: moving x-amount of money from my checking on days i get paid over to my savings account.) That is the easy part. The part that's a little harder (but I've done well) is not touching what I have in savings if I go broke. My suggestion for anyone that is wanting to build up their savings account(s) is to put about 100 bucks of your check into savings and then don't look at your savings account anymore. Just look at what you have left in your CHECKING account. I promise that over a period of time, you won't miss that money!!! Just remind yourself to NOT touch it. I've done well. I know that you can too if you just keep working at it.

Really??! I don't give a rat's behind!!!

Sometimes I have issues with patience, but when it comes to the hospital and being on the patient side of things, I could probably have all the patience in the world. If you come into the ER, wether it be on your on accord (through the front door walking in) or via ambulance, being a patient does NOT give you the right to be a complete and total asshole!!! I don't really care if you have psych issues, have an appendage hanging off, have something that's broken but not hanging off, are here for a stubbed toe or chest pain, or have a family member that is sick. I don't care. IF you are rude, then the staff has every right to be rude back to you. Go ahead and say that I'm a mean bitch or an asshole. I don't care at all. I believe that if you come to the ER, wether it be by you walking in yourself or via ambulance, that you truly want help. I know that a TON of people use the ER as their regular doctor's and other's are drug seekers. I know that. But you c
